kazimierz

Krakow's Jewish community was almost entirely wiped out in the war. (This is where the events in Schindler's List happened - actually a bit outside of town, I think.) Here are some pictures of the old Jewish cemetery near Kazimierz, the old Jewish quarter:

That second photo is stunning! If I can ask, what kind of camera do you have? Or did you bring a professional photographer with you to document the trip?

Well, gosh, thanks! I have a Casio Exilim. I'm not convinced that it's a superawesome camera, but it's tiny and it works for me.
