sweetest thing

Gratuitous U2 post: you should go watch this video even if you aren't a U2 fan, because it is the cutest video ever. It's "The Sweetest Thing," and apparently Bono originally wrote the song to apologize to his wife (who appears in the beginning of the video) for not making it home for her birthday while they were recording the Joshua Tree. Lucky Bono - when he screws up, he can enlist not only U2, but also Boyzone, a troupe of male strippers, and an elephant to help him apologize. It's not, strictly speaking, a *new* video, but I'd never seen it before, so that makes it blogworthy.
