movies

Last night I had a cinematic experience you will be jealous of. Oh yes you will. Especially when I tell you this: On the Line was the better of the two movies we watched. It actually wasn't half bad, but it's possible my judgment had been affected by the movie we watched first. Because the first movie? Was Cool as Ice. It's hard to even know what to say about this movie, except that whoever owns it should really put it out on DVD. This summary on i-mockery says it all. With animations from the movie. You don't want to miss it.

The last movie night with J.Chu and her college friends was a Glitter/Crossroads double feature. (Clear winner: Crossroads.) Next time we're thinking of combining Get Rich or Die Tryin' and From Justin to Kelly.

Po and I rented "Crossroads" in high hopes of a girls' night funfest, but we had to stop watching about 20 minutes into the movie because it was so bad. And this is coming from two gals who are generously forgiving towards the genre of movies marketed to teenage girls! I can only be glad we did not attempt "Glitter."

I loved "From Justin to Kelly." It's a beach classic, girl. Gen Y's answer to Bobby and Annette.
