The secret to my success? Crisco. Yeah. You should try it sometime. We colored eggs at J.Chu's college friends' house (before the kid went to bed and we watched Cool as Ice), and one of them had apparently grown up putting Crisco on eggs. I was initially grossed out, but it turns out to work really well.
