I'm linking to this partly because even I am a little bit happy that the Redskins apparently stink less this year, but mostly because I really like this bit of writing:

The Post, like a lot of papers, is being more careful now about explaining why anonymous sources want to be anonymous. My favorite was in a column by hilarious TV columnist Lisa de Moraes, who just completely ignores the point:

...one of our sources who asked to remain anonymous because they didn't want to be identified...
