I just bought my ticket to Brazil! So, this February I will collect a new continent, see U2, and generally enjoy myself in the tropical heat. I will also, depending on which weekend my friends want to go to Rio, either see the Rolling Stones (on Copacabana beach!!) or see Carnaval. Yeah. Best vacation ever.
The Lonely Planet says that in São Paulo, robberies at red lights are so common that they changed the traffic laws so, at night, a red light means slow down, look both ways, and go.
