I found out that the suitcase he brought with him everywhere he went after the show was his costume. apparently its worth a lot of money, mostly b/c the buttons are pure silver.
Yeah, a bunad costs a bazillion dollars. I am so kicking myself now for not having bought any bunad silver when I lived in Norway - they have beautiful brooches. Ah well - I guess I just have to go back. Sigh.
