I made this photographer totally laugh today when I was interviewing him about a story he'd worked on recently. He was telling me that he goes through a lot of cameras. (He does crazy work in extreme conditions.) So I asked how many he'd destroyed on this story, and he said none, actually.
Me: That's good. It's like that thing at the end of movies: "No animals were harmed in the making of this picture."
Him: Yeah, it's a good thing there's no rights organization for cameras. I would be the first one accused.
Ok, maybe you had to be there.

ha! i think that's hilarious. then again, i also have a collection of over a dozen cameras [and always growing] . . . so maybe it's funnier to those of us involved and those of us obsessed.
