merry merry christmas

My parents came over today - for about 12 hours - for many activities, like opening presents (theme: let's give Towwas kitchen stuff), eating, napping, and hanging things:

Here, my dad prepares to use one of the presents he got me - a drill. Power tools! Woo!! I gave him Persepolis, then read the whole thing myself before they left. My mom gave me some Maryland maple syrup, which we compared to the stuff I had from Trader Joe's, and she was right - the Maryland stuff is better. Of course, it also costs twice as much, but it's much tastier.

What was your awesomest present? I guess mine was the drill (with laser guides!), although I am also looking forward to using all the kitchen stuff.

laser guides, wow. i'm jealous. :)

i think mine was just having my parents in town . . . sappy, i know. but it's not cheap, and they insist on treating my brother and me.

(i also got a spiffy new watch that won't fall off every 10 minutes, but my mom had mentioned it over thanksgiving.)

Well, my best present was from the GF, who dug around and located a copy of Guitar Hero III for the Wii! OMG, it's so freakin' fun. And all this time I thought GH was for weirdos like Jiggity. Guess not, huh? Either that or *I'm* a weirdo...

Pajamas! Two sets, super comfy, one with polka dots and the other with penguins.
