blogcon '07

Unfortunately, Grrrbear could not be pictured in his loon shoes, because he didn't break them out until after the parents of small children retired for the evening. But here we all are:

From bottom, clockwise: me (Brazilian flip-flops), Glacierdad (sensible tennies), Spice (supercute...are those Chacos?), J.Po (our class gift, with the name of OAM on the straps), J.Vo (nekkidfeet), Grrrbear (man sandals).

See all the other blogcon photos here.

Notice how you and I are wearing the exact same footwear as we were in the blog-con photo from your trip to Chicago?

What can I say? Those are some comfortable mandals...

Ha! I noticed mine, but not yours. Heh. Well...they're comfortable flip-flops, what can I say?

My feet are way more attractive in real life, FYI.

They're Tevas, from REI. Under $20, and comfortable!

BTW nice retouching job on the glass gift. Our secret is safe... =)

Yes, I was proud of my high-tech photo manipulation skills, by which I mean the Paint program that came with my computer.

Spice, I assumed they were crazy expensive and now want a pair for myself. Because I don't have enough shoes already.

OAM is College?!? I've been to College! Maybe we all took classes together at College without realizing it!

I'm concerned because Spice appears to be missing some toes. Don't toes normally come in sets of 5??? Was there an OAM sacrificial rite or something (and if so, would you blog it, already!)

Hrmmm....
:D

Huh, yeah, my little toes do appear to be gone! But they're just underneath the straps...

Well, apparently you were cavorting on the grass in sandals while I was dancing telespringar...I looked for you to say in person that I've been enjoying your blog, but alas, I shall have to leave a comment on this aforementioned blog saying that I missed seeing you in person. ;)

Shoes say a lot about a person. Do you have a foot fetish? If so, I doubt that you would choose to associate with me. My feet are all... wrong.

I don't have a foot fetish, but I do find these pictures of my friends' and my feet endlessly amusing. Because it's us...but you can't see our faces! Ta-da! I think what these shoes say about us is "Hi, we're on vacation."

J.Per, yes, I was sorry to miss the party! Ah well - maybe next month.
