desk

I'm cleaning off my desk tonight, and I'm finding a lot of interesting stuff deep in the layers. Many ticket stubs, for example. A 2005 wallet calendar from my credit union. A wide variety of post-it notes. Christmas cards I haven't gotten around to answering. A letter telling me to complete the enclosed W-9 form and return it by December 31, 2004. (The form is still enclosed.) Sometimes I think life would be easier if I weren't such a slob, but I seem to have made it this far without managing to change.

A couple years ago I was cleaning out some stuff and I found a form that I was supposed to have filled out in order to graduate from college back in 1996. I know I graduated...yet there was the form, untouched. So I know what you're talking about.

Heh. Yes, I keep wondering if I should fill out the exit interview form from my student loan (for graduate school). The loan's almost paid off. The form? I think it's around somewhere.
