update

So, I have been making blankets for the binky patrol people:


The astute eye will notice that these are not so much blankets as they are, um, pieces of flannel with a blanket stitch around the edge, but I'm hoping they won't mind. My friends with babies don't seem to mind. Or (equally likely scenario) are too nice to point it out. Either way, it's a nice way to keep my hands occupied while I watch TV. I think I've pretty much mastered the blanket stitch - it may be time to move on to quilting. (We shall see, though, that's a pretty major step.)
