Tonight was the first rehearsal for the Christmas show. It's nice to see everyone, and it was great to sing through the early American music. But at the same time, it's kind of annoying, because so many people feel they have to make their "funny" loud interjections at the first rehearsal, to make their mark. And every single production person has to talk, at length. Memo to production people: we're not going to remember everything you say, so how about you save some of it for some of the next 50 billion times we're going to see each other.
On the upside, it's awesome to have Miss Shirley in my neighborhood! And not only because she can drive me home as we discuss people and their incessant talking - also because, like, she's in my neighborhood! Now it's only a 20-minute walk (or 5-minute drive, but I'm going to try to be good) to watch cable! Oh, and hang out with Miss Shirley! And Little Miss! And Doggy Miss! And Mr. Miss, when he's not working nights! Woo wooo!

I must experience the Revels vicariously through you, Miss S and G Dog! Keep posting! Sigh.
