I'm watching the England-Ecuador match. The stadium is almost entirely England fans. So they keep breaking into song, and I keep thinking, why are they singing "My Country, 'Tis of Thee"?
Oh, yeah. Because it's "God Save the Queen."

I love how during soccer matches, the crowd is singing and hooting NON-STOP. Not like baseball where it only goes nuts when something happens, which is to say, rarely. Not that I don't like baseball - quite the contrary.
Yeah, I like going to baseball games. There's no commercial interruptions. On the other hand, the people I go with always seem to want to talk to me, and I'm like, hello? I'm watching a game here? I think it's because I always go with people who already understand baseball, while I have to concentrate really hard to figure out what's going on.
I love going to baseball games. You can go to the bathroom, get a hot dog, walk around the stadium, get your hair done, play Monopoly, then come back to your seat and you haven't missed anything. It's so American!
