Yeah, you're getting our warm temps! Which means that we're losing them - sigh.
Since I'm, in your words, blogcrastinating, I'd also like to point out that while listening to hours of Accuradio's Brit Rock station today, I was reminded of two things:
1) Radiohead is awesome. 2) "Wonderwall" and "Don't Look Back in Anger" are two of the best songs ever written.
I must admit that my concern for the odd January temperatures is mitigated significantly by my joy at not having to bring a hat and gloves everywhere I go.
The ambivalence shown by society at the threatened status of cold temperatures is reminiscent of that shown by the white man as the buffalo was being hunted to extinction.
Dammit, I miss -40 F winters. I'm like the indian crying at the end of the old "don't pollute" PSA's.
