this is January?

It's supposed to be 62 degrees tomorrow. What the heck?

Yeah, you're getting our warm temps! Which means that we're losing them - sigh.

Since I'm, in your words, blogcrastinating, I'd also like to point out that while listening to hours of Accuradio's Brit Rock station today, I was reminded of two things:

1) Radiohead is awesome.
2) "Wonderwall" and "Don't Look Back in Anger" are two of the best songs ever written.

I must admit that my concern for the odd January temperatures is mitigated significantly by my joy at not having to bring a hat and gloves everywhere I go.

The ambivalence shown by society at the threatened status of cold temperatures is reminiscent of that shown by the white man as the buffalo was being hunted to extinction.

Dammit, I miss -40 F winters. I'm like the indian crying at the end of the old "don't pollute" PSA's.

I love, love, love the strange warm January. Cold is painful for me.
