just before this he was nibbling on her fleece

Lookit! The paper says that the mom was there during the first hour of viewings, so people just watched Butterstick sleeping or being cleaned by his mama. But after noon, she went outside, so his caretakers could go in and show him off. This woman is holding the baby in a lot of the pictures in the Post, and I could not be more jealous.

How old do pandas need to get before folks start worrying about being mauled? I mean, having jaws that can crush bamboo would make it pretty easy to crush other things, I would suppose...Like my hand, for example.

If I were that woman I'd be sure I kept my hands away from it's face.
