words of genius

Ok, it's on the website now, go read it. (Or not. Whatever. I won't be hurt at all. Or refuse to ever speak to you again. Or set fire to your shed.)

I read it when I first got to work this morning. I thought it was en excellent story. Held my interest enough to click through all three pages (something I *loathe* btw). I thought you did a nice job progressing and explaining the differences between the different types of medications and what types of insomnia each one would be used to treat.

No wonder you weren't laid off. This is journalistic *gold*.

Nice work!

Well, thanky, dear! I hate clicking through multiple pages, too. I always click on the link to a printable version - that puts it all on one page. (The New York Times actually has a "Single Page" option, too.)

Dude. Read it. Loved it. Might read it again. Have a history. Have taken Ambien and Trazodone. Only Trazodone allowed me to sleep through the night. Dude.

Rock on with your scientific self!!

You're the third woman in our age range I've talked to who's said the same thing about trazodone. Innnnnteresting.

Loved it, especially the caveman reference for some reason. Funny pictures came to my head of cavemen tossing and turning whilst thinking of the mammoth they hoped to conquer.

My cure to insomnia, 2-year old child.

Oooh, I just figured out from Grrrbear's blog how to read your article (did not actually know where you worked before). Great work!

Come to think of it, I was subjected to a class on Sleep Hygiene once, and I read that book "The Promise of Sleep" by William Dement....

I tried Trazodone once but a single, one-time teeny tiny dose gave me the worst headache of my life that lasted for three days...
