norsk er ikke det samme som svensk
Yesterday I called up my old Norwegian professor from The Other College in the Town Where My Alma Mater is. It was kind of fun. I don't think she remembered me, but she did help me with the pronunciation of the songs we're doing in Norwegian. Before yesterday, our language expert for Norwegian was a Swedish woman whose approach to pronouncing Norwegian was very...Swedish. In case you're wondering, the "t" in "det" is silent. A lot of other consonants are silent, too - I'd forgotten how many.
