When I was landing in Detroit the other day, I must've had some sinus issue - it's the most incredibly painful thing. My whole head felt like it was in a vise. Not just my sinuses, not just my ears (my ears cleared fine). My entire skull. Like it was being squeezed and stretched and shifted in pieces. The pain extended down as far as my shoulders. The only thing that kept me from complete panic was the fact that I've had this a couple of times before and it goes away when the plane lands. But *wow* is it painful. Today I took a decongestant before the return flight and was fine.
