inauguration pics

We stood right in front of the Washington Monument. It's a good spot - it's on a hill, so you can see the Capitol.

I'll miss the tacky Obama memorabilia. My favorite T-shirt spottings: Obama standing in the boxing ring over his knocked-out opponent, with caption "Out with the old, in with the new." And the one with his face and "I'm the president now, bee-yotch!"

although i am a fan of this freelance stuff (yeah quizzes!) . . . i get sad not seeing blog posts as often.

i'm sure other readers feel the same way. you know, the ones that don't just live across town.
