colorado

This weekend I visited my parents in Colorado. My dad retired at the end of the year so they're spending three months in Boulder. He's skiing every day and my mom's going to lots of meetings.

On Friday they picked me up at the airport, took me into Denver, and we went out for breakfast. Actually, for me, it was a hobbit-like third breakfast: a bowl of oatmeal at home, some greasy potatoes and sausages at the Baltimore airport, then some waffley goodness in Denver. Next stop: Denver Art Museum. The Denver Art Museum has a bunch of art, but it also has lots of things for kids to do. Or easily-entertained adults.

They project bubbles on the floor and if you jump on them, they pop. This is my mom trying it out. (My mom is now a blog reader. Say hi, everybody.)

hi, TOWWAS's mom!

i've been *to* the denver art museum, but i never actually made it *in*. a storm was coming, and i was getting sleepy from walking around and spending all morning on the airplane. next time i go, i'm definitely stopping in the museum. i want to play with the bubbles, too.

apparently i'm having writing problems. it's late. ugh.

DAM!

I never saw anything like that at the Denver Art Museum!

I did see some nice Asian art, though.

WAFFLEY GOODNESS! That's a lot like noodley goodness, wouldn't you say? Who came up with that catchy phrase, anyway?
