whine

I'm tired and I'm sore. It's amazing how sore I get doing nothing, which is what most of rehearsal is these days - standing around while stuff gets fixed. If I can get sore doing nothing, does this mean I'm getting old? This show had better be great. The director yelled at us all tonight (with good reason) and I'm tiiiiiiired. This is why they call tech week "hell week."

It's good to know it's not just me. This has been one of the most grueling tech weeks I can remember. (Heck, I even remember having the energy to go out for beers after last year's rehearsals. HA!) I just hope I can get some energy back in time for the opening this weekend.

By the way, what are YOU doing up so late?! You should be sleeping, not blogging! :P

I was IMing with Ogram and Miss Shirley, that's what. :) I'm hoping to get some major naps in today and tomorrow - I'm not going back to work until Monday.

GS, i don't know how we went out last year. i'm not even in the cast and i'm exhausted.

as for the yelling last night, the only part i heard was about things closing and having to end so no one gets stuck, but from the tone, i figured she wasn't too happy. i hid in the green room until it was over. :)

and all of you were up too late. including me.

I don't know how you guys EVER go out after rehearsal!

I think the yelling showed more frustration than anger. Heck, I felt frustrated too. I suspect everyone will be a little more focused tonight and we'll have a good run.

Did you see the story in today's Kid's Post section?

I work with a father of one of the kids in the show -Megan D., her name was in the paper, he was SO proud. He went to rehearsal and said it was a long and tough one - at least some "yelling" at the set changes etc. He was so cute -proud papa. He said the rehearsals have all been long and tough. The show will be great. I stopped by the "Other" groups dress rehearsal last night - in all the snow - just to say high and wish them well too. I'll think of you all as you do your things. I miss you singing this "season" but it was a necessary....

Yeah, I know Megan! She's a good kid. (They all are.) One of these years, you have to come see the show, Basso. It's really great.
