bedroom

It took me two nights, but gol-durn it, I assembled my classy new piece of bedroom furniture. How do I know it's classy? Because it came from Office Depot, that's how. Only the finest for me. (Here's the link, but I totally didn't pay that much.) The hole at the top right corner of the big door is for a lock. I do have my old journals and extra toilet paper in there, but the journals are pretty boring and, really, anyone's welcome to the toilet paper, so I'm going to fight the cabinet's tendency to look like a piece of office furniture by not installing the lock.

Do you have a tall thing at the foot of your bed? Man, I love that sort of setup. Even moreso if both sides of the bed are open and *just* the ends are boxed in, floor-to-ceiling.

I do have a tall thing at the foot of my bed, but it has walls on two other sides - the setup you're talking about is fun, I hadn't thought of that. (I don't have space, tho. And I like my little three-sided crib.)

how come you like the foot and head of the bed boxed in, J. Bro? It doesn't matter to me because I am short but boy if I were tall and my feet couldn't dangle off the end of the bed I would feel cramped...
