Dudes. After a month of letting it sit in the Netflix-and-remote-controls drawer, I finally got around to watching The Lives of Others tonight. And it is So. Good.
It totally fits the Rule of Movie Sitting Aroundness - it's a drama, it's got freakin' subtitles, and it won awards - so it was pretty much guaranteed to sit around for a while. And now that I've finished it, I *should* send it back to get Rowan Atkinson Live or the next disc of Buffy, and yet I kind of want to watch it again and again.
Anyway. It may be doomed to sit around for a while, but I still recommend that you get it from Netflix now. You can thank me in late October.

Oddly enough I also finally got around to watching LoO this weekend after it had been sitting around for 3 weeks or so. Granted, 2 of those weeks I was in Europe, but still.
And I agree - tewtally good.
