I'm moving today to this adorable apartment:
...and I'm just going to go out on a limb here and predict that Verizon won't connect my phone and internet on Tuesday, like they said they would. In fact, I would be very surprised if I have internet by the weekend. Your job is to leave funny comments here so I'll have something to read when I swing by the blogs this week at work.

Oooh, nice! Very bright, very hardwoodey!
Funny Comment: Two muffins were in a microwave. "Man, it sure is hot in here!" said the one on the left. "OH MY GOD A TALKING MUFFIN!" replied the other.
woo, apartment! :)
1-bedroom or studio? i'm sure you're going to make it über cute.
I think I win the badfriend award for not realizing that you'd found a place.
Poo.
I must remedy this...with alcohol. Chocolate martinis when I'm free from single-mom duty (which has been nonstop for 2 weeks now...whee!)...
...way to go! Lunch Eastern Market on me!
Mmmmmmmm... I hope the eating place catches the morning sun!
MOM: Johnny, did you just eat the cookies I left on the table?
J: Well, you know Mom, a little cookie is sorta like a little frobisher.
M (suspicious): What's a little frobisher?
J (brightly): Right! And what's a little cookie?
Wowzers, that place is adorable! Way to strike out on your own, sister!
Why couldn't the pirates play cards?
The captain was standing on the deck!
I saw J.Bro's joke on the premiere episode of "THe Bachelor" this season.
I'm not sure who that makes more pathetic.
Probably me!
OMG it looks SO CUTE!!!! And I love the jokes, J. Bro and J. Po. Must file them away in my head for appropriate moment to reveal my (borrowed) charm.
1. Yay, jokes! More, everybody, more!
2. It's a one-bedroom, and it's totally cute.
3. IBYB, it was a stealth move. (I didn't spread the word very well.) Chocolate martinis are an excellent idea.
4. Basso, lunch, ok! Or maybe a Wednesday dinner in the fall?
J-Vo,
I saw the same joke on The Bachelor. Tess said it on the first night.
It's official... I am a loser. It was actually official a long time ago but I said that for effect.
Love the sunlight, the floors are gorgeous and I am hoping that Verizon gets their act together on time.
Stealth or not, I wanna come seeee!
Also? 42" cabinets in the kitchen are fantastic...great score!
The extent of my jokes lately have been kid oriented...so I can regale you with the favorite from the Friday's Kids Menu:
Why did the lion spit out the clown?
...because he tasted funny.
*rimshot*
annnnnd, I'll slink away now....
Don't worry, IBYB, I missed it too. Either that or I've been too remiss in my blog-reading what with being out-of-town so much lately.
Only two more weeks 'till reunion! Woot! Bring more pictures of the new place!
Oh, and sorry I don't have any jokes at the moment. I've had nothing on my mind but taps for about the past two months and there's nothing terribly funny about taps.
Heh. No, Grrrbear, it was total stealth. Yeah, IBYB, it has 10-foot ceilings! And giant cabinets! Very exciting. I have to stand a footstool to get to the top shelves...that's where I'm keeping the less-than-healthy snacks.
Guess Verizon ended up being a no-show then, huh?
Bastards...
Well, I do have phone service, so that's an improvement. But the DSL modem hasn't gotten to me yet, so, no internet.
I can't believe I sat on your new couch watching mr. mister put together your bookshelf while rubbing my enormous pregnant belly and said things like "if you ever get married you should marry a guy who likes to put together stuff." I got a personal letter revoking my feminist card from Gloria Steinem yesterday. She is also canceling my subscription to Ms.
Oh hey! Look at me commenting on a blog! What's next? Posting? Nah, I need a nap.
Ha! Yeah, I plan to continue borrowing other people's husbands for now. :)
It looks so sunny! -KK
