bryggen
The thing you go to Bergen to see is Bryggen, this row of ancient warehouses (the blurry guy is a bonus). In the 14th to 16th centuries, the Hanseatic League (a bunch of German cities) had one of their overseas trading offices here. Since the warehouses are made of wood, they aren't really all that ancient - they burn down, like, all the time. And now they're mostly souvenir shops and artists' studios and stuff. But it's also a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and there's a bunch of cool museums. Some of the museums are even open in February.

Hi, girl! I just wanted you to know that we are really working on our scrabble skills. We play as soon as we get a chance. This weekend I won with about 350 points, I think. And we use the dictionary. It was great having you in Norway! AB
Oh no! I am so dead the next time I visit you! Well, in 2014 we'll just have to play in English. :)
