cat naming
I'm a little disappointed no one has come up with the inspiration for J.Chu's parents' cats names. Go look at them again. Gilly and Rosie. Ok, I'll tell you the names in the right order: Rosie and Gilly. Rosie...Gilly... does it help if I tell you that "Gilly" is not pronounced "Jilly" but like gillyweed?

Ok, after much much researching, the best I can do is that they were both Hobbits.
That's the best I've got.
Ha! No. Googling will get you nowhere. Their actual names are each a syllable longer than the names they're called by.
I figured it out, but I don't want to ruin the game for everyone else.
Hint #1: "Choo-choo, I'm a-comin' for ya, Bernice!"
Hint #2: That giraffe didn't smell like you thought it would, all things considered.
I concede my inadequacy. I'll wait for the big reveal at the end of the episode. :)
J.Bro, I know who they're named after, and those hints mean nothing to me.
I'm guessing they're named after classical characters who also appear in a movie title with "...Are Dead" at the end.
Oooh...I like Spice's answer a *lot*...since I lurve both Shakespeare AND Tom Stoppard! :)
Let me give you another hint then.
Hint #3: Walla-walla-wallaBEE!
Two points to Spice for recognizing Rosencrantz and Guildenstern - although they are, in this case, very much alive. And fuzzy! J.Bro may also have won, or he may just be making up nonsense clues. Either way, he gets a point, too.
Two points! Hooray!
And hooray for nonsense!
The thing about those nonsense clues is, they're just the kind of thing people *could* say in that play. It's pretty weird. So I was like, uhhh...I don't know...*was* there a giraffe??
on a completely un-related note, while i was stuck in traffic on 395 yesterday, a car passed by on the right with the license plate "J BRO."
at first i thought i had a j.bro spotting (without really knowing who you are) . . . but then i took a look at your blogger profile and it says something about wisconsin. umm yea. DC's a long way to drive from there.
Oh I get it, Rosencrantz and Guildenstern. very cute
took me a damn long while
Thanks for the clues J. Bro, wouldn't have gotten it without the Wallabee one.
