Miss S hemmed these pants for me. Isn't she clever? I took this picture at work today when I was putting off calling a guy. I finally did call the guy, and he was just as un-talkative as I'd feared. Anyway, I'm in a really grouchy mood, so tell me something funny in the comments to cheer me up.

I googled "funniest joke in the world" an told google that I was feeling lucky (even though I was actually feeling kind of dry-mouthed, but also glad that lecture was over for tonight) -
Two hunters are out in the woods when one of them collapses. He doesn't seem to be breathing and his eyes are glazed. The other guy takes out his phone and calls the emergency services.
He gasps: "My friend is dead! What can I do?" The operator says: "Calm down, I can help. First, let's make sure he's dead." There is a silence, then a gunshot is heard. Back on the phone, the guy says: "OK, now what?"
I'm SO glad Miss S finally hemmed those pants--when did you give them to her, in SEPTEMBER? :) We love our seamstress (why doesn't that look like its spelled right?) and I'm excited that Miss S will be helping me shorten my wedding dress. I just hope she gets to it before the big day. :)
Hey! I wish I could post a very witty yet angry response to those comments! Unfortunately, you are right. Although Mr. Mister asked me to hem his pants last night and I did it on the spot, WITH cuffs! (He got the suits that the pants belong to in Novemeber, but really that's an irrelevant detail.)
And, yes, I am clever!
