oops
How do you know when it's time to go through your inbox? When you notice a crack in the middle. I found a lot of stuff in there - two issues each of Astronomy, Skeptical Inquirer, and Biosecurity and Bioterrorism; an old Glamour; invitations to conferences that happened up to six months ago; a book about getting your children to have normal sleeping habits (very timely, going straight to Miss S); and quite a few glossy magazines put out by hospitals.

What's really funny is that the bottom tray -- presumably the more stable of the two -- is empty. :)
May I ask how a Glamour magazine got into your work in-tray? It definitely fits the "one of these things is not like the others" model.
Unless it's gone through a huge reformatting, and now focuses on scientific advances in women's makeup health...
Skeptical Inquirer?!?! I gotsa get a subscription to that!
Skeptical Inquirer is funny, because it's people who devote a *lot* of energy to things like debunking UFOs. Whereas I feel like, look, guys, I'll make it easy for you: there's no such thing as UFOs.
Grrr, I think I bought the Glamour at an airport or something. Although I do always read the health articles in women's magazines.
