not the right kind of job offer
On my daily Hwang news check this morning, I saw a headline about him getting a job offer from an American company and I was like, wow, maybe I was wrong about his scientific career being over. And then I looked at the article and discovered...it's the Raelians. Yeahh...I don't think he'll be taking that job.

This is a total non sequitur, but I just read the AlmaMater described thusly on the Princeton Guide online:
"The "creative, warm, compassionate, and helpful" undergrads of [AlmaMater] are "super smart and nerdy, but fun-nerdy, not scary-nerdy.""
How very true.
Ha! Yeah, I like to think of myself as more fun than I am scary. (The nerdy goes without saying.) Although I'm a little concerned the blog post about folk dancing may have increased my scary points.
Don't you think it is kind of ironic, considering Hwang was ridden out of South Korea on a Rael?
I also consider it ironic that your posted love of folk dancing comes a mere 4 years after gazing down at the folk dancers at reunion and thinking to ourselves "Boy, you'll never catch me doing *that*".
Oh, god, grrrbear, if you see me dancing with the folkdancers in June of next year, could you just shoot me, please? (Truth be told, I don't remember much about the last reunion other than the fact that I was totally sick and your *genius* suggestion that I try Nyquil.)
