accuracy is overrated

A reflection on all those memoirists who aren't *quite* telling the truth...

UPDATE, 1/13: The AP reports that future editions of A Million Little Pieces will include "a brief author's note that refers to the content of the book." I think it would pretty cool if they used this.

The weirdest thing is happening when I look at your blog from my computer. The last post (the one I'm commenting) only appears when I run my mouse over the space it's written in. Otherwise - blank. Well, not EXACTLY blank. Just really really faded-out pastel circles. Did you plan this or is my computer keeping me entertained?

Your computer just wants to make your life more interesting. It's a special feature.

actually, i will add to j.po's comment--that happens to me quite a bit too on your blog TOWWAS, and only your blog, but i don't get the faint circles--i just get nothing except the links on a white background. its very odd. if i highlight the text i know is there, it shows up so i can read it but otherwise, i have to cry. maybe both our computers are on crack j.po.
