suspense over
I got the MRI results, and, to quote the letter, "the study was NORMAL." The report is kind of insulting, though. For example: "the cerebellum and peduncles are unremarkable." Unremarkable? I like to think my cerebellum is fascinating! The intensity of gray and white matter - also unremarkable. The ventricular system and cisterns? Normal. I mean, geez, talk about a let-down.

Well, for the record, your gray matter has always seemed really interesting to me. You know big words and sing and stuff.
Yay for big words! :)
I feel ya TOWWAS. That's what they told me after I got my CT scan on my noggin and I was a little sad too because it wasn't something that could be "fixed".
The good news is that my migranes seemed to have subsided since the summer - I still get the aura but the actual pain never shows up. I'm keeping my fingers crossed...
I was just disappointed that the doctor had no respect for my obviously superior intellect. Ok, and maybe a little bit of me wished there was something there causing it - really, though, I'm happier with tension headaches.
I'm glad your migraines are better.
