Baby names are fun. Check out this list of the most popular baby names in foreign countries. It's particularly odd to see what people are naming their kids in other English-speaking countries. I mean, Lachan? What kind of name is that?
I'm so sad to see Olivia on so many lists. That was my back-up girl name, which took first place after so many people started naming their babies Madeline a few years ago. Perhaps by the time I start popping out kids, the names will be out of favor. Or I'll choose something that peaked in 1880, like Bertha.

I was surprised to see just how high my name ranked in the 30's. I guess that's why almost everyone I meet with my name has grandchildren.
Maybe Lachan is some kind of Gaelic or something.
I knew two Gertrudes (One went by "Gertie" and one went by "Trudie") at a nursing home. Haven't met any since.
